Digidashes

RBR Darren Digidash Designs

This is not co driver related but thanks to some amazing work by Towerbrah it is now possible to generate custom digidash .bnk files.  This allows many digidash elements to be customised in a way that has not been possible until now.

There are still a lot of hard restrictions but with some imagination and a lot of work it's possible to get some amazing results. All these work natively without Simhub or any plugins.

In order for these to work you will need the latest version of the RSF launcher (currently V1.0.77.0 1st May 2023) or above.

They only work on resolutions1920x1080 or above.

Installation

Download the zip file and extract the folder into your Dashboards folder.  This will be something like: C:\Games\Richard Burns Rally RSF\rsf_launcher\dashboards\
(replace C:\Games\Richard Burns Rally RSF\ with the location of your RSF base folder)

Open the launcher.  Go to Cockpit and Dashboard and select the dash from the list.  In order for my dashes to operate as intended i recommend leaving  'Autohide unlit digidash warning icons' unchecked.  Click Apply Changes.

NOTE: make sure to set BOTH racing and replay dash to the same (or disable the replay dash completely)  (there is currently a bug that causes the layout to get scrambled if they are different).  Make sure RBR in-game options/screen/dashSize is set to full. And rbr needs restarting if a new digidash style or screen resolution is selected.

Bespoke Digidash design service

Any dashes I make for my own use will be posted for free here.  I will continue to make them  when i have an idea I'm interested in and I have enough free time. If you want me to design a bespoke dash then I can do that (within the limitations of what's possible) in exchange for a small donation.  These dashes take a lot of time/effort and testing (sometimes days) and I can't afford to dedicate that amount of time out without some support and any donations really help ensure my modding work can continue.  if you wish to discuss this pop over to my discord.

3. MOTEC-A-Like Download
Inspired by the legendary MOTEC dash.  A classic!
11th May 2023. Download updated with more accurate rev gauge and fixed warning light locations in 1080p/VR

4. Ultra Shift X Download
Circular LED Cluster inspired by the Japanese Ultra Shift.  My personal Fave!

5. Rally Clean Download
Minimalist, clean and functional.  Inspired by modern rally dashes from the likes of VW and Ford

6. Atom Full Download
Tiny but mighty. An original design that is fully functional with a super compact form factor. Really nice for VR
